Our Story

For nearly 30 years, I worked inside California K12 school districts, in technology departments and business offices, ultimately serving as a Chief Business Official. In that time I sat through hundreds of budget meetings, signed off on countless maintenance work orders, and watched deferred maintenance accumulate in ways that were genuinely hard to keep up with.

I know what it feels like to get a facilities condition report that’s already six months old. To approve a roof repair based on a contractor’s assessment without any independent verification of what was actually up there. To try to make the case to a board for capital expenditures without strong visual documentation of why it matters.

When I retired, I started CampusView Insights because I believed there was a better way, and because the technology to do it had finally arrived.

Modern drone technology gives us the ability to fly every campus in a district in a matter of days, capturing high-resolution visual and thermal data that tells a complete story about facility condition. The findings we surface — moisture intrusion, failing roof membranes, HVAC heat loss, drainage problems — are the kind that save districts real money when they’re caught early.

I started this business to serve the colleagues I spent my career working alongside. I understand how you work, what you need to justify to your board, and what fits in your budget. I look forward to working with you.
